حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللهِ الْأَنْصَارِيُّ، حَدَّثَنَا صَالِحُ بْنُ رُسْتُمَ الْخَزَّازُ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنِي كَثِيرُ بْنُ شِنْظِيرٍ، عَنِ الْحَسَنِ، عَنْ عِمْرَانَ بْنِ حُصَيْنٍ قَالَ: مَا قَامَ فِينَا رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ خَطِيبًا إِلَّا أَمَرَنَا بِالصَّدَقَةِ، وَنَهَانَا عَنِ الْمُثْلَةِ. قَالَ: وَقَالَ: " أَلَا وَإِنَّ مِنَ، ، الْمُثْلَةِ: أَنْ يَنْذُرَ الرَّجُلُ أَنْ يَخْزمَ أَنْفَهُ " (١)،
Translation
English translation
It is narrated from Imran bin Husain (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Prophet (ﷺ) would always encourage giving charity in his addresses and would forbid mutilation. Beware! Mutilation also includes that a person makes a vow to cut off someone’s nose.
