حَدَّثَنَا عَلِيٌّ، حَدَّثَنَا مُعَاذٌ، حَدَّثَنِي أَبِي، عَنْ عَوْنٍ وَهُوَ الْعَقِيلِيُّ، عَنْ مُطَرِّفٍ،، ، عَنْ عِمْرَانَ بْنِ حُصَيْنٍ قَالَ: كَانَ عَامَّةُ دُعَاءِ نَبِيِّ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ. " اللهُمَّ اغْفِرْ لِي مَا أَخْطَأْتُ وَمَا تَعَمَّدْتُ، وَمَا أَسْرَرْتُ وَمَا أَعْلَنْتُ، وَمَا جَهِلْتُ وَمَا تَعَمَّدْتُ " (١)،
Translation
English translation
It is narrated from Imran bin Husain (may Allah be pleased with him) that the supplication most frequently made by the Prophet (ﷺ) was: O Allah! Forgive my sins which I committed by mistake, intentionally, secretly, openly, in ignorance, or knowingly.
