It is narrated from Imran bin Husain (may Allah be pleased with him) that a person asked the Prophet (ﷺ) about the meaning of the words "By the even and the odd" in Surah Al-Fajr. The Prophet (ﷺ) said: It refers to prayer, as some prayers are even and some are odd.
