حَدَّثَنَا يَزِيدُ، أَخْبَرَنَا شَرِيكُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللهِ، عَنْ مَنْصُورٍ، عَنْ خَيْثَمَةَ، عَنِ الْحَسَنِ قَالَ: كُنْتُ أَمْشِي مَعَ عِمْرَانَ بْنِ حُصَيْنٍ أَحَدُنَا آخِذٌ بِيَدِ صَاحِبِهِ، فَمَرَرْنَا بِسَائِلٍ يَقْرَأُ الْقُرْآنَ، فَاحْتَبَسَنِي عِمْرَانُ وَقَالَ: قِفْ نَسْتَمِعِ الْقُرْآنَ، فَلَمَّا فَرَغَ سَأَلَ، فَقَالَ عِمْرَانُ: انْطَلِقْ بِنَا إِنِّي سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَقُولُ: " اقْرَءُوا الْقُرْآنَ، وَاسْأَلُوا (٢) اللهَ بِهِ؛ فَإِنَّ مِنْ بَعْدِكُمْ قَوْمًا يَقْرَءُونَ الْقُرْآنَ يَسْأَلُونَ النَّاسَ بِهِ " (٣)، ،
Translation
English translation
It is narrated from Imran bin Husain (may Allah be pleased with him) that once he passed by a man who was reciting the Qur'an to the people. After finishing the recitation, he began to ask the people (for something). Seeing this, Imran (may Allah be pleased with him) said, "Let us go," and said, "I heard the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) say: Whoever recites the Qur'an, he should ask Allah through the Qur'an, because soon there will come people who will recite the Qur'an and ask people through it."
