Original Arabic
حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى، عَنْ سُفْيَانَ، عَنْ مَنْصُورٍ، عَنْ مُجَاهِدٍ، عَنْ طَاوُسٍ، عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ، قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: " لَا هِجْرَةَ بَعْدَ الْفَتْحِ، وَلَكِنْ جِهَادٌ وَنِيَّةٌ، وَإِذَا اسْتُنْفِرْتُمْ فَانْفِرُوا " (٣)، ،
Translation
English translation
It was narrated from Ibn "Abbas - Sufyan said: I think it must be from the Prophet (ﷺ) -:
"Bring me a Book (revealed before this), or some trace of knowledge" [al-Ahqaf 46:4]. He said: “The calligraphy."
