حَدَّثَنَا هُشَيْمٌ، أَخْبَرَنَا يُونُسُ، عَنْ أَبِي قِلَابَةَ، عَنْ أَبِي الْمُهَلَّبِ، عَنْ عِمْرَانَ بْنِ حُصَيْنٍ، أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ: " إِنَّ أَخَاكُمْ، ، النَّجَاشِيَّ قَدْ مَاتَ فَصَلُّوا عَلَيْهِ "، فَقَامَ فَصَفَّنَا خَلْفَهُ، فَإِنِّي لَفِي الصَّفِّ الثَّانِي فَصَلَّى عَلَيْهِ (١)،
Translation
English translation
It is narrated from Imran bin Husain (may Allah be pleased with him) that once the Prophet (ﷺ) said, "Today your brother Najashi has passed away, so perform his funeral prayer." Accordingly, the Prophet (ﷺ) stood up and we formed rows behind him; I was in the second row. Then the Prophet (ﷺ) led his funeral prayer.
