حَدَّثَنَا بَهْزٌ، حَدَّثَنَا هَمَّامٌ، حَدَّثَنَا قَتَادَةُ، حَدَّثَنَا الْحَسَنُ،، ، عَنْ عِمْرَانَ بْنِ حُصَيْنٍ، أَنَّ رَجُلًا أَتَى رَسُولَ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فَقَالَ: إِنَّ ابْنَ ابْنِي مَاتَ فَمَا لِي مِنْ مِيرَاثِهِ؟ قَالَ: " لَكَ السُّدُسُ ". قَالَ: فَلَمَّا أَدْبَرَ دَعَاهُ قَالَ: " لَكَ سُدُسٌ آخَرُ ". قَالَ: فَلَمَّا أَدْبَرَ دَعَاهُ. قَالَ: " إِنَّ السُّدُسَ الْآخَرَ طُعْمَةٌ " (١)،
Translation
English translation
It is narrated from Imran bin Husain (may Allah be pleased with him) that a man came to the service of the Prophet (ﷺ) and said, "My grandson has passed away; what will I receive from his inheritance?" The Prophet (ﷺ) said, "You will receive one-sixth." When he was about to leave, the Prophet (ﷺ) called him back and said, "You will receive one more sixth." When he was about to leave again, the Prophet (ﷺ) called him back and said, "This second sixth is an extra morsel for you."
