Translation

English translation

It is narrated from Imran bin Husain (may Allah be pleased with him) that once the Prophet (ﷺ) ended the Asr prayer after only three rak'ahs and, after saying salam, went home. A man whose name was "Khurbaq" and whose hands were unusually long, got up and went after him, calling out, "O Messenger of Allah." When the Prophet (ﷺ) came out, he informed him that he had led only three rak'ahs. The Prophet (ﷺ) returned and asked the people, "Is he speaking the truth?" The people replied, "Yes!" So the Prophet (ﷺ) completed the missed rak'ah, said salam, performed two prostrations of forgetfulness (sahw), and then said salam again.
