Musnad Ahmad Hadith 19734

Abu Aisha, may Allah have mercy on him, who was a companion of Abu Huraira, may Allah be pleased with him, says that once Saeed bin Aas called Abu Musa Ashari, may Allah be pleased with him, and Hudhaifa bin Yaman, may Allah be pleased with him, and asked: "How many takbirs did the Prophet Muhammad, peace and blessings be upon him, say in Eid al-Fitr and Eid al-Adha?" Abu Musa, may Allah be pleased with him, replied: "Just as four takbirs are said in the funeral prayer, four takbirs were also said in the two Eids." Hudhaifa, may Allah be pleased with him, confirmed his statement. Abu Aisha, may Allah have mercy on him, says: "I have not forgotten his words till now, that 'like the takbirs of the funeral prayer.'" It should be noted that Abu Aisha, may Allah have mercy on him, was present with Saeed bin Aas at that time.
