حَدَّثَنَا وَكِيعٌ قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ، عَنْ قَتَادَةَ، عَنْ أَبِي تَمِيمَةَ، عَنْ أَبِي مُوسَى، قَالَ وَكِيعٌ: وَحَدَّثَنِي الضَّحَّاكُ أَبُو الْعَلَاءِ، أَنَّهُ سَمِعَهُ مِنْ أَبِي تَمِيمَةَ، عَنْ أَبِي مُوسَى، عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ: " مَنْ صَامَ الدَّهْرَ ضُيِّقَتْ عَلَيْهِ جَهَنَّمُ هَكَذَا " وَقَبَضَ كَفَّهُ (٣)، ،
Translation
English translation
It is narrated from Abu Musa (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Holy Prophet (ﷺ) said: For the person who always fasts, Hell will become so narrow for him—saying this, he closed his palms into fists to demonstrate.
