حَدَّثَنَا مَرْوَانُ بْنُ مُعَاوِيَةَ قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا ثَابِتُ بْنُ عُمَارَةَ، عَنْ غُنَيْمِ بْنِ قَيْسٍ، عَنْ الْأَشْعَرِيِّ قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: " أَيُّمَا امْرَأَةٍ اسْتَعْطَرَتْ، فَمَرَّتْ بِقَوْمٍ لِيَجِدُوا رِيحَهَا فَهِيَ زَانِيَةٌ " (١)،
Translation
English translation
It is narrated from Abu Musa (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Noble Prophet (ﷺ) said: When a woman applies perfume and passes by some people so that they may smell her fragrance, then she is such and such (an adulteress).
