حَدَّثَنَا حَجَّاجٌ، حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ، عَنْ لَيْثِ بْنِ أَبِي سُلَيْمٍ قَالَ سَمِعْتُ أَبَا بُرْدَةَ زَمَنَ الْحَجَّاجِ يُحَدِّثُ، عَنْ أَبِي مُوسَى، عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ أَنَّهُ رَأَى جِنَازَةً يُسْرِعُونَ بِهَا فَقَالَ: " لِتَكُنْ (٢) عَلَيْكُمُ السَّكِينَةُ " (٣)،
Translation
English translation
It is narrated from Abu Musa (may Allah be pleased with him) that once some people passed quickly with a funeral in front of the Noble Prophet (ﷺ). The Noble Prophet (ﷺ) said: One should walk with calmness.
