Original Arabic
حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو مُعَاوِيَةَ، حَدَّثَنَا الْأَعْمَشُ، عَنْ أَبِي عُمَرَ، عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ، قَالَ: " كَانَ يُنْقَعُ لِلنَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ الزَّبِيبُ " قَالَ: " فَيَشْرَبُهُ الْيَوْمَ وَالْغَدَ وَبَعْدَ الْغَدِ إِلَى مَسَاءِ الثَّالِثَةِ، ثُمَّ يُؤْمَرُ بِهِ فَيُسْقَى، أَوْ يُهَرَاقُ " (١)، ،
Translation
English translation
It was narrated that Ibn "Abbas said:
The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) heard a man say, Whatever Allah wills and you will. He said: "Rather, what Allah alone wills."
