حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو مُعَاوِيَةَ، عَنْ الْأَعْمَشِ، عَنْ شَقِيقٍ، عَنْ أَبِي مُوسَى قَالَ: أَتَى النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ رَجُلٌ فَقَالَ: يَا رَسُولَ اللهِ، أَرَأَيْتَ رَجُلًا أَحَبَّ قَوْمًا وَلَمَّا يَلْحَقْ بِهِمْ؟ فَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: " الْمَرْءُ مَعَ مَنْ أَحَبَّ " (٢) وَكَذَا حَدَّثَنَاهُ وَكِيعٌ، عَنْ سُفْيَانَ، عَنْ الْأَعْمَشِ، عَنْ شَقِيقٍ، عَنْ أَبِي مُوسَى، وَمُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عُبَيْدٍ، أَيْضًا عَنْ أَبِي مُوسَى (٣)،
Translation
English translation
It is narrated from Abu Musa (may Allah be pleased with him) that a man came to the service of the Holy Prophet (ﷺ) and asked: "If a person loves a people but cannot reach them, what is the ruling?" The Holy Prophet (ﷺ) said: "A person will be with those whom he loves." The previous hadith is also narrated through this second chain. The previous hadith is also narrated through this second chain.
