. . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . .، ،

English translation
It is narrated from Abu Musa (may Allah be pleased with him) that the companions of the Holy Prophet (ﷺ) used to keep watch at his place. Once, I woke up at night and did not find the Holy Prophet (ﷺ) in his sleeping quarters. Various fears and doubts began to arise in my mind. I went out in search of the Holy Prophet (ﷺ) and met Mu'adh (may Allah be pleased with him); he was in the same state as I was. We heard a sound like that of a grinding mill and stopped in our tracks. The Holy Prophet (ﷺ) was coming from the direction of that sound. When he came near, the Holy Prophet (ﷺ) said, "Do you know where I was and in what condition I was?" A messenger from my Lord came to me and gave me the choice between two things: that half of my Ummah would enter Paradise, or that I would be granted the right of intercession. So I preferred the aspect of intercession. Both of them said, "O Messenger of Allah! Pray to Allah that He includes us in your intercession." The Holy Prophet (ﷺ) said, "You and every person who dies in such a state that he does not associate anyone with Allah will be included in my intercession."
