Original Arabic
حَدَّثَنَا سُلَيْمَانُ بْنُ دَاوُدَ الْهَاشِمِيُّ، حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو زُبَيْدٍ، عَنْ مُطَرِّفٍ، عَنِ الشَّعْبِيِّ، عَنْ أَبِي بُرْدَةَ، عَنْ أَبِي مُوسَى الْأَشْعَرِيِّ قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: " مَنْ كَانَتْ لَهُ جَارِيَةٌ فَأَعْتَقَهَا وَتَزَوَّجَهَا كَانَ لَهُ أَجْرَانِ " (٢)، ،
Translation
English translation
It is narrated from Abu Musa (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Noble Prophet (ﷺ) said: Whoever has a slave-girl and then frees her and marries her, he will receive a double reward.
