حَدَّثَنَا وَكِيعٌ، عَنْ الْمَسْعُودِيِّ، وَيَزِيدُ قَالَ: أَخْبَرَنَا الْمَسْعُودِيُّ، عَنْ عَمْرِو بْنِ مُرَّةَ، عَنْ أَبِي عُبَيْدَةَ، عَنْ أَبِي مُوسَى قَالَ: سَمَّى لَنَا رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ نَفْسَهُ أَسْمَاءً مِنْهَا مَا حَفِظْنَا فَقَالَ: " أَنَا مُحَمَّدٌ، وأَحْمَدُ، والْمُقَفِّي، والْحَاشِرُ، ونَبِيُّ الرَّحْمَةِ، قَالَ يَزِيدُ، ونَبِيُّ التَّوْبَةِ ونَبِيُّ الْمَلْحَمَةِ " (١)، ،

Translation

English translation

It is narrated from Abu Musa (may Allah be pleased with him) that once the Noble Prophet (ﷺ) told us some of his names which we did not know or remember before. Thus he said: I am Muhammad, Ahmad, Muqaffi, Hashir, and the Prophet of Mercy (ﷺ).
