حَدَّثَنَا وَكِيعٌ، حَدَّثَنَا أُسَامَةُ بْنُ زَيْدٍ، حَدَّثَنَا سَعِيدُ بْنُ أَبِي هِنْدٍ، عَنْ أَبِي مُوسَى قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ " مَنْ لَعِبَ بِالنَّرْدِ فَقَدْ عَصَى اللهَ وَرَسُولَهُ " (١)،

Translation

English translation

It is narrated from Abu Musa (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Holy Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: Whoever plays with Nardashir (backgammon) disobeys Allah and His Messenger.
