حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللهِ بْنُ يَزِيدَ، حَدَّثَنَا سَعِيدُ بْنُ أَبِي أَيُّوبَ، قَالَ: سَمِعْتُ رَجُلًا مِنْ قُرَيْشٍ يُقَالُ لَهُ: أَبُو عَبْدِ اللهِ: كَانَ يُجَالِسُ جَعْفَرَ بْنَ رَبِيعَةَ، قَالَ: سَمِعْتُ أَبَا بُرْدَةَ الْأَشْعَرِيَّ، يُحَدِّثُ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ: " إِنَّ أَعْظَمَ الذُّنُوبِ عِنْدَ اللهِ عَزَّ وَجَلَّ، أَنْ يَلْقَاهُ عَبْدٌ بِهَا بَعْدَ الْكَبَائِرِ الَّتِي نَهَى عَنْهَا، أَنْ يَمُوتَ الرَّجُلُ وَعَلَيْهِ دَيْنٌ لَا يَدَعُ قَضَاءً " (١)، ، . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . .، ،
Translation
English translation
It is narrated from Abu Musa (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Noble Prophet (ﷺ) said: The greatest sin in the sight of Allah Almighty, "after those major sins which have been forbidden," is that a person meets Allah in such a state that at the time of death he has so much debt upon him for which he has left nothing to repay.
