حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الصَّمَدِ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا أَبِي (١) حَدَّثَنَا لَيْث، عَنْ أَبِي بُرْدَةَ، عَنْ أَبِي مُوسَى، أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ: " إِذَا مَرَّتْ بِكُمْ (٢) جِنَازَةُ يَهُودِيٍّ أَوْ نَصْرَانِيٍّ أَوْ مُسْلِمٍ فَقُومُوا لَهَا، فَلَسْتُمْ لَهَا تَقُومُونَ، إِنَّمَا تَقُومُونَ لِمَنْ مَعَهَا مِنَ الْمَلَائِكَةِ " (٣)، ، . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . .، ،
Translation
English translation
It is narrated from Abu Musa (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Noble Prophet (ﷺ) said: When the funeral procession of a Jew, Christian, or Muslim passes in front of you, then stand up, because you are not standing for the funeral itself, but for the angels who accompany the funeral.
