حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ مُصْعَبٍ، حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو بَكْرٍ، عَنْ عَطِيَّةَ،، ، عَنْ عَمْرِو بْنِ عَبَسَةَ، أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ: " صَلَاةُ اللَّيْلِ مَثْنَى مَثْنَى، وَجَوْفُ اللَّيْلِ الْآخِرُ أَوْجَبُهُ دَعْوَةً " قَالَ: فَقُلْتُ: أَجْوَبُهُ؟ قَالَ: " لَا وَلَكِنْ أَوْجَبُهُ يَعْنِي بِذَلِكَ الْإِجَابَةَ " (١)،
Translation
English translation
It is narrated from Amr bin Abasah (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Holy Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: The night prayer should be performed in sets of two rak'ahs, and supplication is most accepted in the last part of the night.
