حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ جَعْفَرٍ، حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ، عَنْ حُصَيْنٍ، عَنِ الشَّعْبِيِّ قَالَ:، ، سَمِعْتُ عُرْوَةَ بْنَ الْجَعْدِ (١) الْبَارِقِيَّ قَالَ: سَمِعْتُ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَقُولُ: " الْخَيْلُ مَعْقُودٌ فِي نَوَاصِيهَا الْخَيْرُ إِلَى يَوْمِ الْقِيَامَةِ: الْأَجْرُ وَالْمَغْنَمُ " (٢)، ،
Translation
English translation
It is narrated from Urwah al-Bariqi (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said: "Goodness, blessing, reward, and spoils of war have been tied to the forelocks of horses until the Day of Resurrection."
