English translation
It is narrated from Zaid bin Arqam (may Allah be pleased with him) that once I suffered from an eye ailment, so the Noble Prophet (ﷺ) came to visit me. When I recovered, I went out of the house. The Noble Prophet (ﷺ) said to me, "Tell me, if your eyes had remained in that condition, what would you have done?" I replied, "If my eyes had remained like that, I would have been patient with the intention of reward." The Noble Prophet (ﷺ) said, "Then you would have met Allah in such a state that you would have had no sin."
