حَدَّثَنَا بَهْزٌ، وَعَفَّانُ، قَالَا: حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ، قَالَ بَهْزٌ فِي حَدِيثِهِ: حَدَّثَنِي حَبِيبُ بْنُ أَبِي ثَابِتٍ قَالَ: سَمِعْتُ أَبَا الْمِنْهَالِ رَجُلًا مِنْ بَنِي (١) كِنَانَةَ قَالَ: سَأَلْتُ الْبَرَاءَ عَنِ الصَّرْفِ؟ فَقَالَ: سَلْ زَيْدَ بْنَ أَرْقَمَ، فَإِنَّهُ خَيْرٌ مِنِّي وَأَعْلَمُ قَالَ: سَأَلْتُ زَيْدًا، فَذَكَرَ الْحَدِيثَ، (٢)،
Translation
English translation
Bahz and ‘Affan narrated to us, they said: Shu‘bah narrated to us. Bahz said in his narration: Habib ibn Abi Thabit narrated to me, he said: I heard Abu al-Minhāl, a man from Banu Kinānah, say: I asked al-Barā’ about exchange (al-sarf), and he said: Ask Zayd ibn Arqam, for he is better than me and more knowledgeable.
