قَالَ: وَأَتَاهُ نَاسٌ مِنَ الْأَعْرَابِ فَقَالُوا: يَا نَبِيَّ اللهِ، يَأْتِينَا نَاسٌ مِنْ مُصَدِّقِيكَ يَظْلِمُونَا، قَالَ: " أَرْضُوا مُصَدِّقَكُمْ قَالُوا: وَإِنْ ظَلَمَ " قَالَ: أَرْضُوا مُصَدِّقَكُمْ " قَالَ جَرِيرٌ: " فَمَا صَدَرَ عَنِّي مُصَدِّقٌ مُنْذُ سَمِعْتُهَا مِنْ نَبِيِّ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ إِلَّا وَهُوَ عَنِّي رَاضٍ " (٣)، ،
Translation
English translation
He said: Some people from the Bedouins came to him and said, "O Prophet of Allah, some of your tax collectors come to us and wrong us." He said: "Be content with your tax collectors." They said, "Even if he wrongs?" He said, "Be content with your tax collectors." Jarir said: "No tax collector has ever departed from me since I heard this from the Prophet of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, except that he was pleased with me."
