Original Arabic
حَدَّثَنَا بَهْزٌ، حَدَّثَنَا حَمَّادُ بْنُ سَلَمَةَ، حَدَّثَنَا عَاصِمُ بْنُ بَهْدَلَةَ، عَنْ أَبِي وَائِلٍ، أَنَّ جَرِيرًا قَالَ: يَا رَسُولَ اللهِ، اشْتَرِطْ عَلَيَّ، قَالَ: " تَعْبُدُ اللهَ لَا تُشْرِكُ بِهِ شَيْئًا، وَتُصَلِّي الصَّلَاةَ الْمَكْتُوبَةَ، وَتُؤَدِّي الزَّكَاةَ الْمَفْرُوضَةَ، وَتَنْصَحُ الْمُسْلِمَ، وَتَبْرَأُ مِنَ الْكَافِرِ " (١)،
Translation
English translation
It is narrated from Jarir (may Allah be pleased with him) that at the time of accepting Islam, I submitted in the presence of the Messenger of Allah, "O Messenger of Allah! If there is any condition, please tell me." The Noble Prophet (ﷺ) said, "Worship Allah and do not associate anyone with Him, perform the obligatory prayers, pay the obligatory zakat, wish well for every Muslim, and express disavowal from the disbeliever."
