حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى، عَنْ شُعْبَةَ، حَدَّثَنِي الشَّيْبَانِيُّ، عَنِ ابْنِ أَبِي أَوْفَى، وَعَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ، عَنْ سُفْيَانَ، عَنِ الشَّيْبَانِيِّ قَالَ: سَمِعْتُ ابْنَ أَبِي أَوْفَى قَالَ: " نَهَى رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ عَنْ نَبِيذِ الْجَرِّ الْأَخْضَرِ "، قَالَ: قُلْتُ: فَالْأَبْيَضُ؟ قَالَ: " لَا أَدْرِي " (١)، ،
Translation
English translation
Shaibani (may Allah have mercy on him) says that I heard Ibn Abi Awfa (may Allah be pleased with him) saying that the Noble Prophet (ﷺ) forbade nabidh (fermented drink) made in green pitchers. I asked him, "What is the ruling regarding white pitchers?" He replied, "I do not know."
