Musnad Ahmad Hadith 18927

It is narrated from Miswar bin Makhramah (may Allah be pleased with him) that once some shirts came to the service of the Holy Prophet (ﷺ), among which were some with gold buttons. The Holy Prophet (ﷺ) distributed all of them among the companions (may Allah be pleased with them). My father, Makhramah, said, "O Miswar! Come with me to the Holy Prophet (ﷺ). I have been informed that he has distributed some shirts." So we set out. Upon reaching there, he said to me, "Go inside and call the Holy Prophet (ﷺ)." I went inside and brought the Holy Prophet (ﷺ) out. The Holy Prophet (ﷺ) came out wearing one of those shirts. The Holy Prophet (ﷺ) said, "Makhramah! I had kept this for you." When he saw it and expressed his approval, the Holy Prophet (ﷺ) gave it to him.
