Translation
English translation
It is narrated from Miswar (may Allah be pleased with him) that once Hasan bin Hasan (may Allah have mercy on him) sent a marriage proposal to him for his daughter. He said to the messenger, "Tell Hasan to meet me at night (Isha)." When they met, Miswar (may Allah be pleased with him) praised Allah and, after saying 'Amma Ba'd', said: "By Allah! There is no lineage and family more beloved to me than yours, but the Holy Prophet (ﷺ) said: 'Fatimah is a part of me; whatever distresses her distresses me, and whatever pleases her pleases me. And on the Day of Judgment, all lineages and relationships will end except my lineage and family.' You already have the daughter of Fatimah (may Allah be pleased with her) in your marriage. If I marry my daughter to you, the Holy Prophet (ﷺ) will be distressed." Hearing this, Hasan accepted his excuse and went back.
