حَدَّثَنَا وَكِيعٌ، حَدَّثَنَا مِسْعَرٌ، قَالَ: سَمِعْتُ عَبْدَ الْجَبَّارِ بْنَ وَائِلٍ يَذْكُرُ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، " أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ أُتِيَ بِدَلْوٍ مِنْ مَاءٍ، فَشَرِبَ مِنْهُ، ثُمَّ مَجَّ " (١)،

Translation

English translation

It is narrated from Wa'il (may Allah be pleased with him) that a bucket was presented to the Noble Prophet (ﷺ). The Noble Prophet (ﷺ) drank some water from it and rinsed his mouth in the bucket, then turned the bucket upside down into the well.
