Translation

English translation

It is narrated from Jundub (may Allah be pleased with him) that once the Prophet Muhammad (ﷺ) fell ill, due to which he could not perform the night prayer for two or three nights. A woman came and said to the Prophet Muhammad (ﷺ), "I see that your companion has not come to you for quite some time." Upon this, the following verse was revealed: "Your Lord has neither forsaken you nor is He displeased."
