حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الْوَهَّابِ بْنُ عَبْدِ الْمَجِيدِ الثَّقَفِيُّ، عَنْ خَالِدٍ، عَنِ الْحَكَمِ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ عُكَيْمٍ قَالَ: " كَتَبَ إِلَيْنَا رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَبْلَ، ، وَفَاتِهِ بِشَهْرٍ: " أَنْ لَا تَنْتَفِعُوا مِنَ الْمَيْتَةِ بِإِهَابٍ، وَلَا عَصَبٍ " (١)،
Translation
English translation
It is narrated from Abdullah bin Ukeem (may Allah be pleased with him) that a letter from the Noble Prophet (ﷺ) came to us when we were residing in Juhainah, and I was a young man at that time, stating: Do not derive any benefit from the skin and tendons of a dead animal.
