حَدَّثَنَا عَفَّانُ، حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ، عَنْ حَكَمٍ، قَالَ: سَمِعْتُ أَبَا جُحَيْفَةَ، قَالَ: " خَرَجَ رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ بِالْهَاجِرَةِ، فَصَلَّى الظُّهْرَ بِالْبَطْحَاءِ رَكْعَتَيْنِ، وَالْعَصْرَ رَكْعَتَيْنِ، وَبَيْنَ يَدَيْهِ عَنَزَةٌ وَتَوَضَّأَ، فَجَعَلَ النَّاسُ يَأْخُذُونَ مِنْ فَضْلِ وَضُوئِهِ "، وَفِي حَدِيثِ عَوْنٍ يَمُرُّ مِنْ وَرَائِهِ الْمَرْأَةُ وَالْحِمَارُ (١)، ،

Translation

English translation

It is narrated from Abu Juhaifa (may Allah be pleased with him) that once the Holy Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) planted a spear in front of him in the valley of Batha and offered two rak'ahs of Zuhr and Asr prayers, and women and donkeys kept passing in front of that spear.
