حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ، أَخْبَرَنَا سُفْيَانُ، عَنِ الْأَعْمَشِ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللهِ، عَنْ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ أَبِي لَيْلَى، عَنِ الْبَرَاءِ بْنِ عَازِبٍ، أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ سُئِلَ: أَنُصَلِّي (٢) فِي أَعْطَانِ الْإِبِلِ؟ قَالَ: " لَا ". قَالَ: أَنُصَلِّي فِي مَرَابِضِ الْغَنَمِ؟ قَالَ: " نَعَمْ ". قَالَ: أَفَنَتَوَضَّأُ (٣) مِنْ لُحُومِ الْإِبِلِ؟ قَالَ: " نَعَمْ ". قَالَ:، ، أَنَتَوَضَّأُ (١) مِنْ لُحُومِ الْغَنَمِ؟ قَالَ: " لَا (٢) "، قَالَ أَبُو عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ: " عَبْدُ اللهِ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللهِ رَازِيُّ، وَكَانَ قَاضِيَ الرَّيِّ، وَكَانَتْ جَدَّتُهُ مَوْلَاةً لِعَلِيٍّ أَوْ جَارِيَةً "، قَالَ عَبْدُ اللهِ: قَالَ أَبِي: وَرَوَاهُ عَنْهُ آدَمُ، وَسَعِيدُ بْنُ مَسْرُوقٍ وَكَانَ ثِقَةً (٣)،
Translation
English translation
It is narrated from Bara’ (may Allah be pleased with him) that a person asked the Holy Prophet (ﷺ) about performing ablution after eating camel meat. The Holy Prophet (ﷺ) said: Perform ablution. Then he was asked about praying in camel enclosures, so the Holy Prophet (ﷺ) said: Do not pray in them. Then he was asked about praying in goat enclosures, so the Holy Prophet (ﷺ) said: You may pray in them. Then it was asked: Should we perform ablution after eating goat meat? The Holy Prophet (ﷺ) said: No.
