Original Arabic
حَدَّثَنَا مَعْمَرٌ، حَدَّثَنَا الْحَجَّاجُ، عَنْ أَبِي إِسْحَاقَ، عَنِ الْبَرَاءِ بْنِ عَازِبٍ قَالَ: سُئِلَ رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: عَنِ الْكَلَالَةِ،، ، فَقَالَ: " تَكْفِيكَ آيَةُ الصَّيْفِ " (١)،
Translation
English translation
It is narrated from Bara’ (may Allah be pleased with him) that a man came to the Prophet Muhammad (ﷺ) and asked about "kalalah." The Prophet Muhammad (ﷺ) said: The verse revealed to you in the summer is sufficient for this matter (referring to the last verse of Surah An-Nisa).
