قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الْمَلِكِ بْنُ عَمْرٍو، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ، عَنْ أَبِي إِسْحَاقَ، عَنِ الْبَرَاءِ بْنِ عَازِبٍ، أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ، كَانَ إِذَا أَقْبَلَ مِنْ سَفَرٍ قَالَ: " آيِبُونَ تَائِبُونَ لِرَبِّنَا حَامِدُونَ " (١)، ،

Translation

English translation

It is narrated from Bara (may Allah be pleased with him) that whenever the Noble Prophet (ﷺ) returned from a journey, he would recite this supplication: "We are returning in repentance, and we are worshippers of our Lord and praisers of Him." The previous hadith is also narrated through this second chain of transmission.
