حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّحْمَنِ، عَنْ سُفْيَانَ، عَنْ أَبِي إِسْحَاقَ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ يَزِيدَ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا الْبَرَاءُ، وَهُوَ غَيْرُ كَذُوبٍ، قَالَ: " كُنَّا إِذَا صَلَّيْنَا خَلْفَ رَسُولِ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ، فَرَفَعَ رَأْسَهُ مِنَ الرُّكُوعِ، لَمْ يَحْنِ رَجُلٌ مِنَّا ظَهْرَهُ، حَتَّى يَسْجُدَ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ، فَنُسْجَدَ " (٣)، ،

Translation

English translation

It is narrated from Bara bin Azib (may Allah be pleased with him) that when we used to pray behind the Prophet Muhammad (ﷺ), we would stand in rows, and when he (peace be upon him) went into prostration, then we would follow him.
