Original Arabic
حَدَّثَنَا حُجَيْنٌ، حَدَّثَنَا إِسْرَائِيلُ، عَنْ أَبِي إِسْحَاقَ، عَنِ الْبَرَاءِ قَالَ: " آخِرُ سُورَةٍ نَزَلَتْ عَلَى النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ كَامِلَةً بَرَاءَةُ، وَآخِرُ آيَةٍ نَزَلَتْ خَاتِمَةُ سُورَةِ النِّسَاءِ {يَسْتَفْتُونَكَ} [النساء: ١٧٦] إِلَى آخِرِ، ، السُّورَةِ " (١)،
Translation
English translation
It is narrated from Bara’ (may Allah be pleased with him) that the last complete surah to be revealed to the Noble Prophet (ﷺ) was Surah Bara’ah, and the last verse to be revealed was the last verse of Surah An-Nisa.
