Original Arabic
حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ، حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ، عَنِ الْأَعْمَشِ، عَنِ الْمِنْهَالِ، عَنْ زَاذَانَ، عَنِ الْبَرَاءِ بْنِ عَازِبٍ قَالَ: " خَرَجْنَا مَعَ رَسُولِ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فِي جِنَازَةٍ، فَوَجَدْنَا الْقَبْرَ، وَلَمَّا يُلْحَدْ فَجَلَسَ، وَجَلَسْنَا " (١)،
Translation
English translation
It is narrated from Bara’ (may Allah be pleased with him) that once we went out with the Prophet Muhammad (ﷺ) for a funeral. When we reached near the grave, the niche had not yet been prepared, so the Prophet Muhammad (ﷺ) sat down, and we also sat around him.
