حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللهِ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ، قَالَ: أَبُو عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ وَسَمِعْتُهُ أَنَا مِنْ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ أَبِي شَيْبَةَ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو خَالِدٍ الْأَحْمَرُ، عَنْ الْحَسَنِ بْنِ عُبَيْدِ اللهِ، عَنْ طَلْحَةَ، عَنْ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ عَوْسَجَةَ، عَنِ الْبَرَاءِ قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: " أَقِيمُوا صُفُوفَكُمْ لَا يَتَخَلَّلُكُمْ كَأَوْلَادِ الْحَذَفِ " قِيلَ: يَا رَسُولَ اللهِ، وَمَا أَوْلَادُ الْحَذَفِ؟ قَالَ: " سُودٌ جُرْدٌ، تَكُونُ بِأَرْضِ الْيَمَنِ " (١)، ،
Translation
English translation
It is narrated from Bara (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Noble Prophet (ﷺ) said: "Keep the rows straight and do not let 'Hadhaf' like children stand in the rows." Someone asked, "O Messenger of Allah! What is meant by 'Hadhaf' like children?" He replied, "Those black, beardless ones who are in the land of Yemen."
