حَدَّثَنَا عَلِيُّ بْنُ عَاصِمٍ، أَخْبَرَنَا حُصَيْنُ بْنُ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ، عَنْ سَعْدِ بْنِ عُبَيْدَةَ، عَنِ الْبَرَاءِ بْنِ عَازِبٍ، عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ: " إِذَا اضْطَجَعَ الرَّجُلُ فَتَوَسَّدَ يَمِينَهُ، ثُمَّ قَالَ: اللهُمَّ إِلَيْكَ أَسْلَمْتُ نَفْسِي، وَفَوَّضْتُ إِلَيْكَ أَمْرِي (١) ، وَأَلْجَأْتُ إِلَيْكَ ظَهْرِي، وَوَجَّهْتُ إِلَيْكَ وَجْهِي، رَهْبَةً مِنْكَ، وَرَغْبَةً إِلَيْكَ، لَا مَلْجَأَ وَلَا مَنْجَا مِنْكَ إِلَّا إِلَيْكَ، آمَنْتُ بِكِتَابِكَ الَّذِي أَنْزَلْتَ، وَبِنَبِيِّكَ الَّذِي أَرْسَلْتَ، وَبَاتَ (٢) عَلَى ذَلِكَ بُنِيَ لَهُ بَيْتٌ فِي الْجَنَّةِ، أَوْ بُوِّئَ (٣) لَهُ بَيْتٌ فِي الْجَنَّةِ " (٤)، ،
Translation
English translation
It is narrated from Bara’ (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Noble Prophet (ﷺ) said: Whoever comes to his bed and makes his right hand a pillow and says: O Allah, I have entrusted myself to You, turned my face towards You, entrusted my affairs to You, and made my back rely only on You. My desire is for You, and I fear only You. There is no refuge or shelter except with You. I have believed in Your Book which You have revealed and in Your Prophet whom You have sent. If the one who says these words dies that night, a house will be built for him in Paradise.
