Original Arabic
حَدَّثَنَا حَسَنُ بْنُ مُوسَى، حَدَّثَنَا زُهَيْرٌ، حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو بَلْجٍ يَحْيَى بْنُ أَبِي سُلَيْمٍ (١) قَالَ: حَدَّثَنِي أَبُو الْحَكَمِ عَلِيٌّ الْبَصْرِيُّ، عَنْ أَبِي، ، بَحْرٍ، عَنِ الْبَرَاءِ، أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ: " أَيُّمَا مُسْلِمَيْنِ الْتَقَيَا، فَأَخَذَ أَحَدُهُمَا بِيَدِ صَاحِبِهِ، ثُمَّ حَمِدَ اللهَ، تَفَرَّقَا لَيْسَ بَيْنَهُمَا خَطِيئَةٌ " (١)، ،
Translation
English translation
It is narrated from Bara that the Holy Prophet (peace be upon him) said: When two Muslims meet each other and shake hands, before they separate, their sins are forgiven.
