English translation
It is narrated from Bara bin Azib (may Allah be pleased with him) that once we were on a journey with the Noble Prophet (ﷺ). We reached a well in which only a little water was left. Six men, including myself, went down into it. Then buckets were lowered. The Noble Prophet (ﷺ) was also present at the edge of the well. We poured about half or two-thirds of the water into them and presented it before the Noble Prophet (ﷺ). I checked my vessel thoroughly to see if I could get enough water to quench my thirst, but I could not find any. Then the Noble Prophet (ﷺ) put his hand into that bucket and recited some words "which Allah willed." After that, the bucket was returned to us (when it was poured into the well, we were still inside the well). I saw my last companion being pulled out by his clothes so that he would not drown, and the water overflowed. The previous hadith is also narrated from this second chain of transmission.
