حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ جَعْفَرٍ، وَعَفَّانُ، قَالَا: حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ، عَنْ أَبِي إِسْحَاقَ، قَالَ: عَفَّانُ قَالَ: أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو إِسْحَاقَ، عَنِ الْبَرَاءِ، وَلَمْ يَسْمَعْهُ أَبُو إِسْحَاقَ مِنَ الْبَرَاءِ قَالَ: مَرَّ، ، رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ بِقَوْمٍ جُلُوسٍ فِي الطَّرِيقِ، قَالَ: " إِنْ كُنْتُمْ لَا بُدَّ فَاعِلِينَ، فَاهْدُوا السَّبِيلَ، وَرُدُّوا السَّلَامَ، وَأَغِيثُوا الْمَظْلُومَ "، قَالَ عَفَّانُ: " وَأَعِينُوا " حَدَّثَنَاهُ أَبُو سَعِيدٍ، حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ، قَالَ: سَمِعْتُ أَبَا إِسْحَاقَ قَالَ: " أَعِينُوا الْمَظْلُومَ " وحَدَّثَنَاهُ أَسْوَدُ قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا إِسْرَائِيلُ، حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو إِسْحَاقَ، عَنِ الْبَرَاءِ، وَقَالَ: " أَعِينُوا الْمَظْلُومَ " وَكَذَا قَالَ حُسَينٌ: " أَعِينُوا " عَنْ إِسْرَائِيلَ (١)،
Translation
English translation
It is narrated from Bara bin Azib (may Allah be pleased with him) that he once passed by some people and said: If you have no choice but to sit by the roadside, then spread greetings of peace, help the oppressed, and show the way. The previous hadith is also narrated through this second chain of transmission.
