حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى، عَنْ شُعْبَةَ، حَدَّثَنِي حَبِيبٌ، عَنْ أَبِي الْمِنْهَالِ، قَالَ: سَمِعْتُ زَيْدَ بْنَ أَرْقَمَ، وَالْبَرَاءَ بْنَ عَازِبٍ، يَقُولَانِ: " نَهَى رَسُولُ، ، اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ عَنْ بَيْعِ الذَّهَبِ بِالْوَرِقِ دَيْنًا " (١)،

Translation

English translation

It is narrated from Zaid bin Arqam (may Allah be pleased with him) and Bara bin Azib (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Noble Prophet (ﷺ) forbade the exchange of gold for silver on credit.
