حَدَّثَنَا مُعَاوِيَةُ بْنُ عَمْرٍو، حَدَّثَنَا زَائِدَةُ، حَدَّثَنَا سُلَيْمَانُ الْأَعْمَشُ، حَدَّثَنَا الْمِنْهَالُ بْنُ عَمْرٍو، حَدَّثَنَا زَاذَانُ، قَالَ: قَالَ الْبَرَاءُ: خَرَجْنَا مَعَ رَسُولِ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ، فِي جِنَازَةِ رَجُلٍ مِنَ الْأَنْصَارِ، فَذَكَرَ مَعْنَاهُ إِلَّا أَنَّهُ قَالَ: " وَتَمَثَّلَ لَهُ رَجُلٌ حَسَنُ الثِّيَابِ، حَسَنُ الْوَجْهِ "، وَقَالَ فِي الْكَافِرِ: " وَتَمَثَّلَ لَهُ رَجُلٌ قَبِيحُ، ، الْوَجْهِ، قَبِيحُ الثِّيَابِ (١) " (٢)،
Translation
English translation
Muawiyah ibn Amr narrated to us, Za'idah narrated to us, Sulaiman al-A'mash narrated to us, al-Minhal ibn Amr narrated to us, Zadhan narrated to us, he said: Al-Bara' said: We went out with the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, in the funeral of a man from the Ansar, and he mentioned its meaning except that he said: "And there appeared to him a man with good clothes, good face." And he said regarding the disbeliever: "And there appeared to him a man with an ugly face, ugly clothes."
