Translation

English translation

It is narrated from Bara’ (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Noble Prophet (ﷺ) commanded us regarding seven things and forbade us from seven things. The Noble Prophet (ﷺ) forbade us from (using) silver vessels, gold rings, istabraq, harir, and dibaj (all three are types of silk), red tablecloths, and silk-linen. Then, mentioning the things he commanded, he mentioned visiting the sick, accompanying the funeral, responding to one who sneezes, replying to greetings, supporting one who swears an oath, accepting invitations, and helping the oppressed.
