Translation

English translation

It is narrated from Mughirah bin Shu’bah (may Allah be pleased with him) that on the day when the son of the Noble Prophet (ﷺ), Ibrahim, passed away, there was a solar eclipse. The Noble Prophet (ﷺ) stood up and delivered a sermon, saying: "The sun and the moon do not eclipse because of anyone’s death. They are two signs among the signs of Allah. Therefore, when you see an eclipse of either of them, turn immediately to prayer until it is over."
