حَدَّثَنَا حَسَنٌ، حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ لَهِيعَةَ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللهِ بْنُ هُبَيْرَةَ، عَنْ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ جُبَيْرٍ، قَالَ: كُنْتُ فِي مَجْلِسٍ فِيهِ الْمُسْتَوْرِدُ بْنُ شَدَّادٍ، وَعَمْرُو بْنُ غَيْلَانَ فَسَمِعْتُ الْمُسْتَوْرِدَ، يَقُولُ: سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَقُولُ: " مَنْ وَلِيَ لَنَا عَمَلًا " فَذَكَرَ مِثْلَ حَدِيثِ الْحَارِثِ (٤)،
Translation
English translation
Hassan narrated to us, Ibn Lahi‘ah narrated to us, he said: ‘Abdullah ibn Hubayrah narrated to us, from ‘Abd al-Rahman ibn Jubayr, he said: I was in a gathering in which were al-Mustawrid ibn Shaddad and ‘Amr ibn Ghailan, and I heard al-Mustawrid say: I heard the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, say: "Whoever is appointed over a task for us," then he mentioned similar to the hadith of al-Harith.
