حَدَّثَنَا عَفَّانُ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا حَمَّادُ بْنُ سَلَمَةَ، حَدَّثَنَا عَلِيُّ بْنُ زَيْدٍ، عَنِ الْحَسَنِ، عَنْ عُثْمَانَ بْنِ أَبِي الْعَاصِ، أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ: " يُنَادِي كُلَّ لَيْلَةٍ مُنَادٍ هَلْ مِنْ سَائِلٍ فَأُعْطِيَهُ، هَلْ مِنْ مُسْتَغْفِرٍ فَأَغْفِرَ لَهُ، هَلْ مِنْ دَاعٍ فَأَسْتَجِيبَ لَهُ " (٢)،
Translation
English translation
It is narrated from Uthman (may Allah be pleased with him) that he said: Every night a caller announces, "Who is there who will supplicate to Me so that I may accept his supplication? Who is there who will ask of Me so that I may grant him? This announcement continues until the break of dawn. And who is there who will seek forgiveness from Me so that I may forgive him?"
